What is ‘Ducted Reverse Cycle’ Air Conditioning?
Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning works with an internal and external unit installed at your property. These units pump air through ducts to outlets, usually installed in the ceiling. This air can be set to warm or cool the property as needed.
What is ducted air conditioning?
Ducted air conditioning is one of the best ways to get air moving through any property, particularly if it’s large. Ducted air conditioning systems work by moving cold or heated air through ducts which lead to different areas of your home.
What is split system air conditioning?
Split systems make use of separate single air conditioning units that are mounted to the wall of each room. This provides the user the ability to control the air conditioning of each room.
What is zoning?
Zoning allows you to group rooms of your property into ‘zones’ that can heat or cool together as necessary. For example, you can group the bedrooms of your home together to warm the house overnight without wasting energy warming living spaces that are not used at that time. This increases efficiency and reduces running costs for your system.
Should I choose a split system or ducted air conditioner?
Split System

Can you provide a price over the phone?
For ducted systems, pricing can only be provided following an on-site inspection because every home has different design requirements.
For split systems, we can provide an estimated back-to-back installation price over the phone. However, we always complete a site inspection before confirming installation.

What is a back-to-back installation?
A back-to-back installation places the indoor and outdoor units on opposite sides of the same wall, requiring minimal pipework and typically reducing installation costs.

What warranty do you provide on new installations?
Domestic Installations
- 5-year manufacturer's warranty
- 12-month labour, installation, zone motors and switches warranty
Commercial Installations
- 1-year manufacturer's warranty for packaged units and commercial VRV systems
- Most other Daikin commercial systems include a 5-year manufacturer's warranty
- 12-month labour, installation, zone motors and switches warranty
I have a problem with geckos and rust due to sea air
With all new systems split or ducted we strongly suggest you get the outdoor unit treated, to protect the unit from geckos and early rust eroding the system due to weather conditions, especially nearby salt water
Do you offer finance?
Yes, we have ZIP payment option, where you pay your new system off in up to 2 years subject to the amount required. (subject to approval)

How often should I service my air conditioner?
We recommend servicing residential systems at least once each year. Commercial systems generally require more frequent servicing due to heavier usage.
Regular servicing improves efficiency and helps identify small issues before they become costly repairs.
What happens if I don't service my air conditioner?
Without regular servicing:
- Efficiency gradually decreases

Why is my air conditioner making unusual noises?

Is gecko or rodent damage covered by warranty?
No. Manufacturers do not cover damage caused by rodents, geckos or similar pests. However, we can provide advice on preventative protection.

What size air conditioner do I need?
As a general guide:
